Mississippi Democratic Party Announces Qualified Candidates for 2026 State and Federal Primary Elections

JACKSON, Miss. — The Mississippi Democratic Party today announced the list of Democratic candidates who have officially qualified to run in the 2026 Democratic primary election for federal offices.

“These candidates represent a broad cross-section of Mississippi — leaders, advocates, and public servants who are stepping forward to fight for working families, strong public schools, accessible health care, and a government that works for everyone,” said Mississippi Democratic Party Chairman Cheikh Taylor in a statement. “We are proud to support a competitive and transparent primary process and to present voters with a strong slate of qualified Democratic candidates.”
