Mississippi Democratic Party Statement On Tate Reeves’ Lackluster Debate Performance 

Jackson, MS – Mississippi Democratic Party Chair Cheikh Taylor released the following statement on Tate Reeves’ lackluster debate performance:

“We now see why Tate Reeves only wanted to debate Brandon Presley once. Tonight, Tate Reeves was unable to defend his record of refusing to expand Medicaid, underfunding public schools, and failing to cut the highest-in-the-country grocery tax. Mississippians are ready for new leadership, which is why next week we will elect Brandon Presley, who will expand Medicaid, cut taxes for working families, and invest in public education.”
