One of the big successes is the Cash for Clunkers program, which just got a new infusion of cash last week. Says Craig:

In my humble opinion, the program makes sense. It gives the economy a jolt while, at the same time, increasing fuel efficiency overall in the U.S. Who can be opposed to it?

I can answer this: Republicans. But then again, their grand fiscal policies led us to our current dismal economic condition.
