  1. Mike Johnson says:

I am a candidate for alderman in Walnut Grove, MS. I am a member of the Leake County Democratic Executive Committee.

I would appreciate any help I can get tomorrow in Walnut Grove.

    Thanks.

    • samrhall says:

Good luck, Mike. We wish you the best. If we can be of assistance to you in the future, please let me know.

      • John Tyson says:

Don Jackson for Mayor of Pearl, Todd Jenkins for Alderman of Pearl,

James Smith alderman of Richland, Democrat running on the Independent ballot.

        • samrhall says:

I’ve met Don Jackson before. He’s a driven, smart guy. He’d make a heck of a mayor for Pearl.

I don’t know the other two candidates as well, but I know that Rankin County folks have been busy knocking on doors and making phone calls for several candidates.

  2. Sam Begley says:

Don’t forget about Senator Ezell Lee,who is the nominee for mayor of Picayune

    • samrhall says:

Not at all. I know we have supporters who are making phone calls on his behalf.

I’m sure everyone will hate to lose him in the Senate, but we will love to have him as a Democratic mayor.
