Blocking Debate Is Not Good for America

Republicans in the U.S. Senate have decided that there is no need to debate a health insurance reform bill. Mind you, they didn’t vote against a bill, they voted against DEBATING a bill.

It should come as no surprise that Mississippi’s two senators do not support health insurance reform. We’d expect nothing less of them. That said, debate is healthy for public policy.
